Jacques D. Evans Entrepreneurial Grant

 

Golden Opportunity Foundation, Inc. program entitled, Jacques D. Evans Entrepreneurial Grant, awards students high school students funding to go towards creating and building a business.

The Jacques D. Evans Entrepreneurial Grant Program selects individuals or teams from a pool of high school applicants that effectively complete an application packet and pitch their business idea to a review panel.

Participating students are empowered with the resources to advance their leadership capabilities, build strong relationships and affect positive change through entrepreneurship, all while gaining expertise in life skills that will help them advance their college and career goals.

The awarded individual or team is recognized at a special recognition program. The grant recipient is then paired with an advisor that will guide the recipient through the grant program; coordinating education, facilitating activities, securing the needed resources to meet the goals of the awarded student or team.

The Jacques D. Evans Entrepreneurial Grant Program is tailor made for each grant recipient. The hours, location, and activities of the program depend on the availability of the awarded recipient and their ability to meet the agreed upon goals and timelines.

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants include any student(s) currently enrolled at a participating high school and has a minimum G.P.A. of 2.0 during the academic year in which they are applying for the grant.
